Chicken a la king with rice:
Diced chicken in a cream sauce, often with a type of sherry, diced mushrooms, and vegetables, generally served over rice, noodles, or bread. It is also often served in a vol-au-vent or pastry case. Traditionally the sauce used is a dish made of a béchamel sauce (a basic French white sauce) combined with mushrooms, pimentos, and green and red peppers. Its best to enjoy this catering dish on a cold winters night or with a group of friends or family.
Classic dish is rich, creamy, and made from scratch with simple ingredients from the local shops! Using only one pot (excluding the rice) and just 30 minutes of your time, you can have this delicious comfort food dish ready to serve.

Next, sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms, stir and cook until there’s no more specs of white flour. Add the chicken broth this should soak in, milk, and stir. Lower the heat to medium-low and continue stirring and cooking for another 6 minutes until sauce thickens, ensuring there are no lumps.
